PURPOSE:To obtain the title resin excellent in ion exchange capacity and crosslinking density, by polymerizing a specified fluorodivinyl ether compound with, optionally, a copolymerizable monomer and introducing anion exchange group into the polymer. CONSTITUTION:A fluorodivinyl ether (A) of formula I (wherein Y is an ion exchange group, or a group which can be easily converted into an ion exchange group, Rf and Rf1-2 are each F or a perfluoroalkyl, k>=1, and l, m and n are each >=0) is (co)polymerized with, optionally, a fluorovinyl monomer (B) copolymerizable therewith at -80-400 deg.C and a pressure of -70mmHg-20kg/ cm<2> in an inert gas in the presence of a polymerization initiator, and ion exchange groups are optionally introduced into the (co)polymer by, for example, hydrolysis with an alkali solution to obtain the title resin having structural units of formula II (wherein X is an ion exchange group) as side chains and optionally having structural units of formulas III-IV (wherein Rf3-4 are each a perfluoroalkylene or a perfluoro ether group, Y is H, a halogen or an ion exchange group, and h is 0-1). |
