PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of paper jamming in a folder by automatically limiting the size of form which can be copied in a copying machine according to the quality of the form, information such as a folding mode, etc., and the ability of the folder. CONSTITUTION:Based on the information of the quality and the width, etc., of rolled paper 2 inputted in the copying machine 1, the information of the size of an original and the information of the folding set in the folder 10, the inputted information is compared in respective controllers 5 and 15 and based on the information of the control the machine 1 and the folder 10 are controlled. And as for the form which exceeds the range of the maximum process faculty in the folder 10, an incomplete copy is outputted by cutting the paper into the maximum size whatever size the original has. An operator can know the effect, thus, and the occurrence of paper jamming, etc., in the folder 10 can be prevented. |
