PURPOSE:To efficiently transmit image by controlling so that a set of specified density image elements in an image is first transmitted in case of transferring an image from one system to another. CONSTITUTION:The transmission side system and the reception side system respectively have adaptors 1A, 1B connected through a public communication line 2. To the adaptors 1A, 1B the following are connected respectively: format shaping devices 3A, 3B respectively composed of processors 3Aa, 3Ba, memory interfaces 3Ab, 3Bb, and image memories 3Ac, 3Bc, disk interfaces 4A, 4B, and disk storage devices 5A, 5B in which organism slice image expressed in the unit of frame is filed. At the time of transferring an image from the transmission side system to the reception side system, the format shaping device 3A, 3B so controls that the set of specified density image elements in an image is first transmitted. |
