PURPOSE:To stably maintain a triboelectrostatic charge quantity and to speed up the rise of electrostatic charge simultaneously by forming a resin coating layer consisting of two kinds of polymers having different electrostatic charge polarities on the surface of carrier core particles. CONSTITUTION:The carrier core particles are successively or simultaneously coated by using at least two kinds of the fine polymer particles having the different electrostatic charge polarities. The thickness of the coating layer on the surface of the carrier core and the ratio of the coating part can be set as desired by the mixing ratio of the carrier core and the fine particle power, by which the high-resistance carrier is easily prepd. The carrier which has high electric resistance and has stable triboelectrostatic chargeability on account of the exposure of the polymers having the different electrostatic charge polarities on the surface and exhibits the extremely fast rise of the electrostatic charge is thereby obtd. |
