PURPOSE:To eliminate an inconvenience due to a duplicating transfer or the deficiency of a capacity by delivering required information relating to the mutual file at the initial time of a transfer, deciding the propriety of the transfer for every type of data and repeating the transfer only the possible data on all the types. CONSTITUTION:At the time of generating a data transfer request, a self-file using status is added to a data transfer start request telegraphic message and transferred to a host side from a terminal side. In the host side, a data transfer start response telegraphic message to which the data transferring file using status is added is transferred to the terminal. A terminal operator selects the transfer file and requests the transfer request for a file unit to the host side. In the host side, the propriety of the transfer is decided as one processing of the start processing for the file unit. When a result is impossible, the transfer request of a relevant file is rejected, when it is possible, the data stored in a center device is taken out to transfer the data between the center device and the terminal, consequently, the data is stored in the disk or the like of the terminal side. This data transfer is repeated until the completion of all the files.
