PURPOSE:To dehydrate meat of cuttlefish in a short time, by blending the meat of cuttlefish with salt in an atmosphere under reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:Meat of cuttlefish such as Japanese common squid or kanadairekkusu is incorporated with salt, deaerated in a vacuum tumbler, rotated and stirred. Thereupon, dehydration of the meat of cuttlefish can be completed in an extremely short time. Reduction in freshness during dehydration treatment will not occur, increase in bacteria and deterioration in taste can be also prevented. Since dehydration time is enormously shortened, production time is decreased. |
