PURPOSE:To facilitate coating with high accuracy and to improve workability by providing concentrical steps on the surfaces of substrates and subjecting the substrate surfaces to coating for provision of only the scratching resistance. CONSTITUTION:The surface coating layers 6 are formed only on the flat parts of the medium formed with the concentrical steps in the inside and outside circumferential parts on the opposite sides of the stuck surfaces of the polycarbonate substrates 1, 5. A dielectric layer 2 consisting of a composite layer of silicon nitride and aluminum nitride, a recording layer part 4 formed by sandwiching a magneto-optical layer by dielectric layer similar to the layer 2 and a UV curing type adhesive agent layer 3 are formed between the substrates 1 and 5. Since heat resistance is sufficiently assured with the medium of this construction, the coating can be executed by taking only the scratching resistance into consideration and be executed only on the limited planes by two-dimensional coating. The high-accuracy coating is thus easily executed and the workability is improved. |
