PURPOSE:To surely decrease torque transmitted to a wheel efficiently suppressed in its slip by decreasing the torque, generated in an engine, while releasing a stator in a torque converter, provided in a torque transmitted route, when the driving wheel slips. CONSTITUTION:A fluid type torque converter A is mounted interposing in a torque transmitted route reaching a driving wheel from an engine in an automobile. While a means B, which detects a slip rate of the driving wheel for a road surface, is provided. Further a means C, which decreases generated torque of the engine suppressing a slip when the detected slip rate exceeds a predetermined value, is provided. Still further a means D, which releases a stator in the torque converter A when the generated torque of the engine is controlled, is provided. By this means the torque converter A disables its torque increasing action when necessary, and the torque, transmitted to the driving wheel through the torque converter A from the engine, is surely decreased in accordance with the generated torque of the engine. |
