MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY

摘要

PURPOSE:To enable the immunological determination and the immunological purification of hHGF, by synthesizing a monoclonal antibody specifically reactive with human hepatocyte growth factor (hHGF) and using the antibody. CONSTITUTION:A plasmocyte (immunocyte) of a mammal immunized with hHGF as an immunogen is fused with a plasmacytoma of a mammal to obtain a hybridoma. A clone capable of producing an antibody recognizing hHGF is selected from the hybridoma and the objective monoclonal antibody is obtained from the clone. The mammal to be immunized with hHGF is preferably selected in consideration of the compatibility with the plasmocyte used in the cell fusion and useful examples of the mammal are mouse, rate, etc. The immunization is carried out e.g. by the intravenous injection of hHGF to a mammal.
