PURPOSE:To save electricity in the captioned device in which a steering handle is automatically moved to a retracted position and an operating position accompanying the getting on/off of a driver by carrying out the electrification to a controller by means of either the opening of a door or the turning on of an ignition switch. CONSTITUTION:At the time of getting off, as a driver opens a door after turning off an ignition switch 2 and, then, as he gets out and closes the door, a door switch 1 is turned off. In this condition, since a relay contact 6 is turned on, the power source terminal Vcc of a controller 3 is being electrified with the power of a storage battery Bt and, as both switches 1, 2 are being off, a delay timer is operated. If the switch 1 is turned on by opening the door during this time, a steering handle is lifted up to a retracted position. On the other hand, at the time of getting on, the delay timer is started in the controller and, as the ignition switch 2 is turned on before the time-out of the timer, the steering handle is lowered to its operating position. |
