PURPOSE:To prevent copies exceeding the set number from being processed by judging the stage number of sorter pins currently used based on a value that a counting means applicable in any mode counts and stopping copying operation. CONSTITUTION:The shared counting means (h) counts the number of copies in a group mode, an automatic original feed mode and a nonautomatic original feed mode. Based on the value counted by the counting means (h), whether or not the stage number of sorter pins currently used J1, J2...Jn shows a final stage is judged. If so, copying operation is stopped when an original is completely copied by the number of copies set in a group. Such error can be previously prevented that in the group mode an original is copied exceeding the number of copies set in a group corresponding to the final stage of any one of the sorter pins J1, J2...Jn. |
