PURPOSE:To supplement a desired contour line as to the coloring of a picture on a display and to accurately and speedily perform coloring operation by drawing the border line of a color in a pattern selected among drawing patterns and correcting the picture with a pattern selected among the drawing patterns. CONSTITUTION:A color separating means 14 displays a drawing pattern for drawing a desired line in a specified color by a drawing pattern display means on the display 17, a bank generating means 14e draws the border line of the color in the drawn picture which is extracted by a picture extracting means and displayed on the display 17 in a pattern selected among the drawing patterns displayed by said drawing pattern display means, and a picture correcting means 14f corrects the picture with a pattern selected among the drawing patterns displayed by the drawing pattern display means. Consequently, a computer performs coloring and the formation of a screen tint film accurately and efficiently.
