PURPOSE:A resin composition capable of providing moldings improved in impact resistance and flex resistance without detriment to rigidity, prepared by mixing an ionomer resin with a specified graft copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A molding resin composition is prepared by mixing (A) about 50-90pts.wt. metal ion-crosslinked ethylene/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid copolymer or ethylene/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid/alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylate ester tercopolymer with (B) about 50-10pts.wt. graft copolymer obtained by graft-copolymerizing an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid (derivative) with a low- crystalline or amorphous ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer of a density of 0.85-0.90g/ cm<3> (ASTM D-1505). By adding copolymer B, it is possible to obtain a resin composition markedly improved in impact resistance and flex resistance without detriment to the rigidity of resin A. |
