PURPOSE:To enable a ceramic coil which is small and of sufficient strength to be made simply and easily with high yield, by employing a series of processes in which a core wire which has both heat resistance and flexibility is covered with a ceramics material to make a wire body, and the wire body is wound round a cylindrical core member which is burnt down at firing temperature to be formed in a coil configuration. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic material is coated over the surface of a core wire 11 which has both of heat resistance and flexibility to make a wire body 15. Successively, the wire body 15 is wound round the outside surface of a cylindrical core member 17 from one end of thereof toward the other end, with being evenly spaced, to be formed in a coil configuration, thereby a compact 19 is made. Next, the compact 19 is fired in the air using an electric furnace, thereby the core member 17 is burnt down. In such manner, the dissipation of the core member 17 results in only the wire body 15 being left. Hereafter, the wire body 15 is fired to make a ceramic coil 21. Accordingly, oxygen can be sufficiently supplied in ceramics firing process, which enables the characteristics of ceramics such as superconductivity, rigidity, degree of sintering and the like to be exhibited. |
