The present invention relates to an electric contactor of the known type comprising a contact module 100 including at least one fixed contact 141, 142 and a moving contact 151, and a control module 200 actuated by an external parameters, such as a pressure or a temperature, in order to act on the moving contact of the contact module so as to modify the state of the latter when the parameter exceeds a specified threshold, characterised in that the contact module 100 comprises a first fixed contact assembly 130 carried by a connector 120 integral with the body of the contactor, a second fixed contact assembly 140 connected electrically to the first assembly and carried by a platen 143 adapted so as to be immobilised in a chosen position inside the body, a third moving contact assembly 150 actuated by the control module 200 in order to be connected selectively to the second assembly 140 and a support element carrying one of the second 140 and third 150 contact assemblies, whose relative position with respect to the control module 200 can be adjusted. <IMAGE>
