PURPOSE:To obtain the titled high-specific gravity material of high strength, suitable for fishnets, ropes etc., by drawing a composition of good drawability prepared by incorporating a thermoplastic resin with each specified amount of metallic powder of specified size, modified polyolefin and coupling agent. CONSTITUTION:The objective material can be obtained by drawing a composition prepared by incorporating a total of 100pts.wt. of (A) 30-95pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyethylene, polypropylene) and (B) 70-5pts.wt. of metallic powder with an average size of 0.3-10mum (e.g., zinc, iron) with (C) 0.5-7pts.wt. of a modified polyolefin and (D) 0.1-2pts.wt. of a coupling agent (e.g. vinyltriethoxysilane, isopropyltriisostearoyl titanate). |
