PURPOSE:To sterilize even the shade part of a specimen by stirring generated active oxygen and to rapidly decompose the residual ozone in an apparatus, by irradiating ozone with ultraviolet rays generated from an ultraviolet ray generating lamp. CONSTITUTION:An ultraviolet ray generating lamp 13 and an ozone supply apparatus 14 are provided to the inside wall of a main body 11. A stirring apparatus 15 stirrs ozone and ultraviolet rays. A net shelf 16 is provided in the main body 11 and a specimen 16 to be sterilized is arranged to the upper surface thereof. The ultraviolet ray generating lamp 13 is allowed to light and the concn. of ozone in the apparatus main body 11 is set to 10ppm and stirring is performed by the stirring apparatus 15 to sterilize the medicine or food container being the specimen. By this method, not only the surface of the container but also the shade part thereof not irradiated with the ultraviolet rays of the ultraviolet ray generating lamp 13 are sterilized. After the supply of ozone is stopped, the ultraviolet ray generating lamp 13 is allowed to light continuously to oxidize ozone by ultraviolet rays and the residual ozone is completely purged. |
