<p>PURPOSE: To correct the dentition with fine outside look by furnishing a bracket including fixed blades at least having a groove hole for accepting an arch wire and a base part formed in a single piece with the fixed blade. CONSTITUTION: A bracket 10 is preferably made of a mono-crystalline alumina material and holds a base part 12 having a bottom surface 14 to be coupled with the surface of tooth. The bottom surface 14 has a length TB and a width WB. Each fixed blade extending from the base part includes an occlusion blade 18 having a groove hole bounded by surfaces 17 and 19 and a gum blade 16, and between them an arch wire groove hole 20 is formed for accepting an arch wire. The bottom surface 21 of the groove hole 20 serves as a table for rotational adjustment of the arch wire, and each has a recess 24 and thereby the bracket is secured by the arch wire firmly.</p> |
