The invention relates to a screw-shaped titanium anchoring member for permanent anchorage in bone tissue, specifically permanent anchorage of articial teeth and tooth bridges in the jaw bone. The bottom end of the achoring member is provided with at least one cavity (4, 8) communicating only with the outer cylinderical surface of the anchoring member, and the edge of the cavities on the cylindrical surface forming sharp, cutting edges (5, 10) for self-tapping when the anchoring member is screwed into the bone tissue, said cavities also adapted to room at the scraped-off bone tissue material by the cutting edges (5). |
