Fuel tank level indicator for motorcycles with a fuel tank which is arranged over the carburettor and is connected to the carburettor by means of a hose. The fuel tank level indicator is to be inserted into the hose and petrol flows through it. The fuel tank level indicator is provided with a chamber which is equipped with a resilient diaphragm which itself is connected to an electric switch which switches on a signalling lamp when the pressure of the petrol falls below a specific level, that is to say there is only a specific residual amount left.
