PURPOSE:To control the connection of an arbitrary device power source at an arbitrary timing in a program processing, by inserting an instruction word to open and close an automatic switch to a program processing step desired to connect/disconnect the device power source. CONSTITUTION:The power source is supplied to the devices 2-28 of a computer system 1 via contacts 42-53 controlled by the automatic switches 30-41 of an automatic power source switching device 54. In the switches 30, 33, 36, and 39, process input/output devices 13 is connected to a signal line, and in the switches 32, 35, 38, and 41, process input/output devices 14 to the signal, and all of the device power sources can be connected/disconnected from any process input/output device in a central processing unit. To disconnect the arbitrary device power source by the arbitrary step of a program, the instruction word linked to a process input/output device linkage sub routine is inserted to the processing step of the program. In such a way, it is possible to connect/ disconnect the device power source when the device is desired to be qualified. |
