The mine clearance vehicle according to the invention comprises a chassis 1 provided with carrying members 2, 3 to allow its displacement over the terrain to be cleared of mines, at least one vibrating roller 4, 6 resting on the ground in front of the carrying members, this vibrating roller being mounted in a rotary manner on a frame 5, 7 connected to the chassis, and means 16, 19; 23, 29 to prevent the transmission to the said chassis of all or part of the effect of the explosion of a mine when the vibrating roller passes over the latter. It can advantageously comprise two forward rollers 4 and one rear roller 6 parallel with each other, the forward rollers being equidistant from the longitudinal axis of the chassis 1 and leaving a free space between them which is covered over by the rear roller. The vehicle according to the invention is perfectly suitable for producing breakthroughs in minefields, particularly in its remote-controlled self-propelled version. <IMAGE>
