The invention relates to a box body of the type comprising, in a single part, a bottom panel 12 and four side panels 13 with, at the ends of the latter, corner flaps capable of forming bellows folds 35. According to the invention, the corner flaps associated with the transverse side panels 13A are each cut with a cutting line which extends from the end of the folding line connecting them to the associated corner flaps to the longitudinal side panels 13B, in such a way that the internal volume of the box body can be varied between a generally parallelepipedal configuration and a generally trapezoidal configuration. Application in particular to the dispatch of a cultivable product and to the subsequent keeping of the latter in situ. <IMAGE>
