A connection stub (1) serves to feed dry air into a bore (2) in a floor, a wall or a ceiling or another building part which has become moist due to the ingress of water and is now to be dried out again by means of dry or hot air fed through the connection stub (1). For this purpose, the connection stub (1) has a plug-in region (5), which can be inserted into the bore (2) of the uppermost layer, and an outwardly projecting connection part (6) to which there can be connected, for example, an air hose (7) or an air line. In order to seal the connection stub (1) with respect to the bore (2), the connection stub (1) exhibits, on its plug-in region (5) which can be inserted into the bore (2), an expansible seal (3) which, being axially compressible and thus simultaneously expansible in the radial direction, can be clamped in between two stops (9 and 10). <IMAGE>
