In this way, output image data can be generated by means of the scanner (1). Also belonging to the pseudo-script set input equipment are detector equipment (3) which detects, on the basis of the positioning pattern, the magnitude of the inclination or an incompletely read part of the pseudo-script set read by means of the scanner (1), correction equipment (3) for the correction of the inclination of the pseudo-script set or for the deletion of the incompletely read part of the pseudo-script set, as well as a deletion equipment (3), which deletes the pattern of the pseudo-script set read by the scanner (1) after the correction equipment (3) has carried out the correction and deletion assigned to it. <IMAGE>
