In a known lubricating arrangement, lubricating oil is fed continuously via a wick from a reservoir to a felt ring connected to the rolling bearing. The oil passes from the felt ring to the rolling bearing. At high speeds of rotation, the quantity of oil which can be supplied in this way is no longer adequate for satisfactory lubrication of the rolling bearing. The new arrangement is intended to guarantee adequate lubrication even at very high speeds of rotation. As the distributing device for the lubricating oil, at least one venturi nozzle (32) is provided, its nozzle aperture being directed at the rolling bearing (1). The airflow necessary for the venturi nozzle (32) is produced within the bearing housing by a fan impeller (12) arranged on the shaft. Provided radially to the outside of the rolling bearing (1) in the bearing housing are return passages (15) which open into a collecting space (30) connected to the venturi nozzle (32). In this way, a closed airflow circuit is created. The arrangement permits the supply of a considerably larger quantity of oil. This quantity can be varied by the number of venturi nozzles. <IMAGE>
