In an oven, a fan (8) arranged above the cooking space (3) has two radial impellers (12, 13) mounted on a common shaft (11) and rotate in periodically alternating directions by an electric motor (10). The blades of the two impellers (12, 13), are curved in different directions so that the air set in motion by the fan (8) is directed to one of two air ducts (7) extending on either side of the cooking space (3), depending on the direction of rotation of the shaft (11). The air leaves the corresponding air duct (7) through openings (6) in the cooking space (3) and is returned to the fan (8) through a suction duct (24). |
