PURPOSE:To prevent a compressor from failing as well as to attempt an increase in the achievement coefficient by letting the actuating order of each compressor within a same unit be discontinuous, however letting the actuating order of each compressor among units be continuous. CONSTITUTION:When cooling or heating load is, for instance, less than 20%, a compressor A is actuated, and when it is less than 30%, two compressors A and B are actuated. The compressor is, in this manner, selected adequately in an actuating order from NO.1 compressor to NO.9 compressor as the maximum depending on cooling or heating load so as to be actuated. When cooling or heating load is thereafter changed, the compressor is increased or decreased in number depending on the change in cooling or heating load. This constitution prevents the compressor from failing, thereby attempting an increase in the achievement coefficient. |
