Method for controlling the pulse emission of an implantable electromedical apparatus whose operating mode and operating parameters, which determine the pulse triggering, can be programmed and set or varied after the implantation over a transmission section from an external programmer to an internal programming part. The pulse emission of the implantable electromedical apparatus is triggered externally in this case by the transmission of coded signals from the external programmer to the internal programming part.
