<p>PURPOSE:To apply a proper scorch pattern to food-stuff and to heat the food-stuff without leaving the flavor thereof in a microwave oven, by providing a heat generator generating heat upon the reception of the irradiation with a microwave to the surface brought into contact with the food-stuff and mounting a material having deodorizing effect inside a container. CONSTITUTION:A food container 1 for cooking by a microwave oven is constituted so that a heat generator 2 generating heat upon the reception of the irradiation with a microwave is provided to at least a part of the surface being brought into contact with food and a material having deodorizing effect is mounted inside the container. As the material having deodorizing effect, a material prepared by coating, impregnating or kneading an appropriate carrier such as a plastic film, paper or nonwoven fabric with a deodorant is used. As the deodorant, there are a substance reacting with a smell component to convert the same to an odorless component and a substance deodorizing said smell component by physical adsorption and, when both of them are used, the obtained effect is high. The heat generator 2 is pref. provided by forming a membrane layer by the printing of conductive ink or the vapor deposition of indium/tine oxide and applying a protective layer to said membrane layer. By this method, a proper scorch pattern can be applied to food and the food-stuff can be heated and cooked without leaving the flavor of the food in the microwave oven.</p> |
