<p>This invention relates to the production of a stress sensor having high reliability. Conventional production methods need a step of bonding and fixing a magnetic strip (4) to a receiving shaft (1) which receives stress, and an advanced technique has been necessary in order to fix the magnetic strip (4) uniformly on the entire surface and symmetrically with respect to the right and left. Therefore, the prior art methods involve the problem of high process cost. An object of the present invention is to produce a stress sensor having high reliability which can simplify the process at the time of fixing of the magnetic strip (4), accomplish excellent fixing and produce a highly reliable stress sensor. In this invention a belt-like thin magnetic plates are fixed around the shaft receiving the stress, and then removed selectively so that magnetic strips are juxtaposed at a predetermined angle with respect to the center axis of the receiving shaft. Furthermore, the present invention involves the use of an epoxy adhesive for fixing and a technique to control its thickness. According to the present invention a stress sensor having high accuracy and reliability can be produced by a simple and economical method and the stress sensor of the present invention can be utilized widely in industrial equipment including automobiles.</p> |
