摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize electrification potential, by changing a static eliminating light quantity fitting to the fatigue and recovery characteristics of a photosensitive body due to a pause time or a consecutive operation. CONSTITUTION:To a microcomputer 20 which controls the static elimination lamp 27 of a photosensitive drum, a ROM 21 in which a control program and a duty factor table are stored, counters A-C, and a RAM 22 on which a flag and a timer are set are connected. And the time of the consecutive operation is measured while it is performed, and static elimination light with a quantity decided for a section time to which the time of the above consecutive operation belongs is projected. Since each section time is divided so as to be increased in a unit of index, by setting a light quantity corresponding to each section time by reducing gradually, the static eliminating light quantity is decreased in a unit of logarithm. Also, even when the next operation after pause is started, the static eliminating light quantity decided on the section time to which the length of the pause time belongs can be set. In such a way, it is possible to uniformize a fatigue state at the time of electrification and to stabilize the electrification potential.
