<p>A wiper for wiping and drying surfaces consists of a longitudinal, two-part basic element (1) and a sponge (8) fastened to the basic element. The two parts of the basic element are connected by a hinge (2) and can be pivoted mutually by an actuation device (5) in such a manner that the sponge fixed to the basic element is squeezed together. The axis of the hinge is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the basic element. Both parts (1a, 1b) of the basic element are provided with handles (5, 21) which project laterally beyond the end faces of the basic element.</p> |
