The system, which comprises a vessel (2) containing trichlorocyanic acid (13) in the form of solid, compact pellets, a pipe (7) for delivering water to the said vessel, and a discharge pipe (11) in which the chlorine-saturated water circulates and which connects the vessel to the pipe containing the water to be treated, is characterized in that it also comprises a chlorine analyser (4) which continuously analyses the quantity of active chlorine present in the treated water and means (16) for regulating the flow connected to delivery means and capable of varying the flow rate of the water in function of the quantity of active chlorine present in the treated water as measured by said chlorine analyser. |
