Actuating drive

The actuating drive consists of a reversible gear motor (10) and a threaded spindle (14) with an external thread which meshes with the internal thread of an actuating element (24). When the gear motor is acted upon, the threaded spindle, which is axially fixed in the housing, is driven via the output shaft of the gear motor. Through the rotation of the threaded spindle, an axial movement is imparted to the actuating element, which transmits the axial movement to an appliance to be operated. The actuating drive can conveniently be regulated via a speed transmitter (32) and an impulse sensor (33) by the impulses being input to an electronic control unit which activates electromagnets (34, 35) which supply the gear motor with pressure medium. The actuating drive is suitable in particular for actuating a rear-axle steering system for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
