摘要 The invention relates to a brake pressure control device for the traction control of a hydraulic brake system with antilock device for motor vehicles. It proceeds from an antilock device of conventional type, which comprises a tandem master cylinder (13) with hydraulic brake booster (41), and a modulator (14) for modulation of the wheel cylinder pressures. The modulator comprises inlet and outlet valves for controlling the pressure in the wheel cylinders of the brakes in antilock control mode and in traction control mode. For accomplishing the traction control mode a pressure medium line (39) is provided, which connects the pressure medium supply system (4) to at least one working chamber (25, 26) in the master cylinder. This pressure medium line (traction control line) is connected to the circuit only in traction control mode. For this purpose, a separate valve (traction control valve) (44) in the form of a two/two-way directional valve is provided, which in traction control mode is switched to allow passage. In order to safeguard the traction control line against a fall in pressure in other parts of the brake pressure control device and in the reservoir (47), the main valve (5) belonging to the antilock device is used. By means of this invention, the cost of valves in a combined antilock and traction control device is reduced. <IMAGE>
