PURPOSE: To eliminate play by forming a base portion from die casting, forming a connecting portion, including a connection side end surface with plastic and integrally forming part of the circumference of the connecting portions of two connectors with the base portion by die-casting, so that the connected portions are shielded together with a metallic frame of the other connector. CONSTITUTION: A metallic portion 5 integrally die-casted with a base portion 3 forms a frame body covering only part of the circumferential surface 4' of a connecting portion 4. While the gap between the inside surface 5' of the metallic portion 5 and the surface 7' of a contact 7 is made small, since only part of the connecting portion is made to have such a narrow gap in a mosaic shape, a plastic material, when outside-molded, also flows into the narrow gap. As a result, a connector having no play between the metallic portion 5 and the plastic portion 6 is produced. |
