<p>A chisel for removing material (5) from a crack defined between two adjacent bricks, comprising a body (1) supporting an elongate tip (2) and defining shoulders (4) extending transversely of the tip. The width of the tip is less than the width of cracks from which it is desired to remove material, and the width of the shoulders is greater than the width of the cracks such that the shoulders limit the depth of insertion of the tip into the cracks. The shoulders may be fixed surfaces, which may be covered with or fabricated from materials which will not mark bricks across which they slide, or alternatively the shoulders may be defined by rollers (22).</p> |
