A portioning device for fodder silos, with at least one sewing member for portioning the fodder and with at least one sewing cylinder driving this sewing member in the sewing direction as well as with at least one lifting-cylinder apparatus assigned, together with the sewing cylinder, to a hydraulic circuit is to be designed in such a way that, despite the fluctuations of the forces acting on the sewing cylinders and on the lifting-cylinder apparatus, the synchronisation of the movements of the hydraulic consumers remains largely uninfluenced thereby, at the same time with a low energy consumption matched to the particular load. For this purpose, there is provided in the hydraulic circuit (12), between the sewing cylinders (18, 19; 18a, 19a) and the lifting-cylinder apparatus (46), at least one pair of vessels (34, 35; 34b, 35b) of variable volume, the respective volume of which can be alternately increased and reduced by means of a freely movable separating member (37, 37b) and each of which is connected on the one hand to a set of sewing cylinders (18, 19; 18a, 19a) and on the other hand to the lifting-cylinder apparatus (46), the connecting lines (31; 31a, 39, 39a, 44) to the vessels (34, 35; 34b, 35b) being provided with pressure valves (30, 42; 52). <IMAGE>
