PURPOSE:To ensure favorable color developing performance and preservation stability and contrive a simpler coating process and improvements of working environmental pollution and safety, by joining in a body a sheet-shaped formed product comprising a mixture of an olefin resin, a thermal color developer and a dye-adsorptive inorganic material and a base to each other. CONSTITUTION:An olefin resin to be used is preferably polyethylene, polypropylene, a copolymer or blend thereof or the like. When a functional group-containing olefin resin is added to part of the above olefin resin, color developing performance may be enhanced. Preferable examples of the functional group-containing olefin resin include an ethylenemethyl methacryate copolymer. For use as a color developer, a color developer for thermal recording papers is particularly preferable, for example, a novolak-type phenolic resin. At least one such color developer is used either singly or in combination. As an inorganic material, any of those conventionally used as a resin filler or a color developer can be used, for example, silica. A sheet-shaped formed product of a mixture of these components can be obtained by rolling or the like, and joining of the formed product and a base in a body is carried out by adhesion or the like. |
