In known appliance combinations, the seed coulters of the seed drill are attached behind a pressure roller of the ground-working appliance and are suspended resiliently. An exact depositing depth for the seed and an optimum embedding of the seed are not possible under these conditions. According to the invention, there are arranged between the ground-working appliance (1), for example a rotary harrow, and the following pressure roller (5) press-down elements (4) which can be designed as press-down discs or sliding runners. A sowing tube (3) is assigned to each press-down element (4) so as to follow it directly in the working direction (R). The press-down elements (4) can be adjusted in height relative to the pressure roller (5). Furrows, into which the seed is deposited, are pressed into the ground behind the ground-working appliance (1) by the press-down elements (4). <IMAGE>
