PURPOSE: To remarkably improve the classification performance by specifying the setting angle range of a plurality of moving vanes with the axis arranged along the generatrix of a vertical inverted truncated cone and rotating around the axis. CONSTITUTION: When the inclination of a classifying blade 70 to the radius (r) of gyration is denoted byθ1 , the probability of the grain collided with the classifying blade 70 springing outward is increased as the inclinationθ1 increases. Meanwhile, when the inclination of the classifying blade 70 to the axis of rotation is expressed byθ2 , the generation of vortices before, behind and inside the blade 70 and the inflow state of a carrier gas are affected by the inclinationθ2 . Consequently, whenθ1 =30 to 60 deg. andθ2 =0 to 40 deg., the operation of the mill is balanced with respect to the wear ratio of the blade 70, quantity of the product and average grain diameter, and a separating effect is heightened.
