The magnetically rotatable part of the compass is provided with symbols for adjustment to the surrounding sheet, so that even persons without knowledge of the function of a compass can use the aid. The sheet on which the locations are indicated is foldable, and it has a hole corresp. to the place where the compass is to be placed. This enables one and the same sheet to have directional indications corresp. to several different starting points. - The compass may be arranged in a half of the sheet with several different starting points. In this way, it is possible to have a primary small chart to enable a user to travel e.g. from a hotel to the nearest tube station, and then at the next starting point to use a further sheet indicating locations. All the location indications on the sheet have distances shown in conjunction with the location designations. |
