The clamping members feed, tension and weld the strip sections superimposed on the strip support (12). To improve feeding and tensioning and to avoid damage to the strip parts, the gripping members (14) are fixed to a link conveyor (48) which is guided over two guide wheels and from which at least one clamping member projects at the corresponding strip section (6). |
