<p>The filter device for peridural anaesthesia comprises a casing consisting of two plastics material parts (1 and 2) welded together and a circular filter membrane (3) disposed and welded in an inclined plane at an angle between 5 and 15 DEG to the axis of the inlet bore (4) or outlet bore (5) of the device, so that at least one of the circular membrane support surfaces is free of any relief member projecting beyond that surface. A reversible device of this kind is more economical, more sensitive, more comfortable for the patient and safer than prior art devices used for peridural anaesthesia.</p> |
