PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the durability of a drum and a blade by a simple structure, by allowing a scraping piece to go in and out from the tip part of a cleaning blade due to a temperature change, in accordance with the cleaning blade which is pressed and separated against and from the surface of a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:At the time of starting an operation, a heating element is energized, a curved part of a plate spring 13 is deformed to a shape of alpha due to a characteristic of a shape memory alloy, a scraping piece 14 is drawn in by b1 from the tip part of a cleaning blade 3, and thereafter, the tip edge of the blade 3 is separated from the surface of a photosensitive drum 2. Subsequently, as a temperature of the heating element 15 gets gradually near an ambient temperature, the plate spring 13 is restored to a shape of beta from alpha. Accordingly, the plate spring 13 slides on the surface of the blade 3 by the scraping piece 14, while expanding gradually, and comes to protrude by b2 from the tip part. In this case, a residual toner and paper powder adhering to the tip edge of the blade 3 are scraped down. |
