PURPOSE:To enable detection of even disconnection of a feed cylinder or an extension pipe thereof, by a method wherein the base end part of a feed and exhaust cylinder is coupled to a burner body, end the connection metal of a lead wire guided from the burner body side is linked to a coupling part between the feed cylinder and the feed and exhaust cylinder or the extension pipe. CONSTITUTION:When an exhaust cylinder 7, an extension cylinder 9, a feed and exhaust cylinder 3, an extension pipe 8, and feed cylinder 6 are not disconnected, a closing circuit 35 for detecting disconnection is charged with a current, a signal provided on a signal line 38 produces an L level, and it is decided that a microcomputer 39 is normal. For example, when coupling parts 29 and 27 between the extension pipe 8 and the feed cylinder 6 are disconnected, electrical connection between an annular metal 22, securely pressed in and engaged with a coupling part 27 of the feed pipe 6 and a coupling part 29 of the extension pipe 8, is disconnected. Since no current is supplied to the closing circuit 35 for detecting disconnection, a photo transistor 36 of a photocoupler 30 is turned OFF, and a signal provided on a signal line 38 is shifted from an L-level to an H-level. Thus, the microcomputer 39 informs that the feed and exhaust cylinder is disconnected. |
