A deodorizing plant utilizes a bacterial deodorizing effect. It comprises an air supply conduit 2 disposed in an upper portion of a malodorous air generating chamber 1, an air exhaust conduit 5 disposed in a lower portion thereof, and a separate deodorizing chamber 6 into which an outlet 5b of the air exhaust conduit 5 discharges. The chamber 6 contains a filter 8 saturated with deodorant liquid comprising an enzymatic solution of particular bacteria exhibiting the desired deodorizing effect or a mixture of appropriate enzymatic liquid and bacterial liquid, and/or contains a deodorant spray device 7 spraying such a deodorant liquid into the chamber 6 so that the desired deodorizing process can be effected without any environmental pollution being caused thereby.
