PURPOSE:To constantly uniformize the contact pressure of an apron and to enable the vertical motion of the right and left aprons in almost independent state, by using an apron tensor composed of a particular main body, an engaging part and a contacting part. CONSTITUTION:An apron tensor 14 is provided to apply a tension to an apron 13 extended to a roller 6. Both ends of the main body 14a of the apron tensor 14 are provided with a reed 14b for applying a tension to the apron 13 from the inside and with a protrusion 14c to control the traveling position of the apron 13. At nearly the middle part of the apron tensor is placed an engaging part 14d to contact with the upper face of a roller shaft 7 and restrict the vertical position of the shaft. A contacting part 14e is placed at both sides of the engaging part to keep the apron tensor parallel to the roller shaft 7. |
