PURPOSE:To obtain high sensitivity and small variance of potential at the time of repeated uses by incorporating a specified disazo pigment in a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is provided on a conductive substrate with the photoconductive layer containing one of the disazo pigment represented by formula I in which each of R1 and R2 is H atom, alkyl group, or the like; Z is O, S atom, or the like; and each of A1 and A2 is a coupler residue having a phenolic OH group different from each other, thus permitting the obtained electrophotographic sensitive body to have practicable high sensitivity characteristics and stable potential characteristics at the time of repeated uses. |
